The psychologists of Aging Matters tend to the psycho-social well-being of older adults and their families.

We also enhance the training and development needs of senior care facilities and their staff.

Clinical Psychology Services

Direct Treatment Services:

  • Psychological treatment services, including individual, family and group psychotherapies.

  • Psychological assessment services, including initial consult and diagnosis, cognitive status reviews, and neuropsychological testing (as needed).

  • Expertise in working with a wide range of psychiatric illnesses, including depressive and anxiety disorders, plus Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Clinical Support Services:

  • Administrative oversight and (as indicated) clinical supervision of our staff psychologists by a highly experienced geropsychologist.

  • Close collaboration on treatment planning and quality control issues with caregiving staff, other healthcare providers and facility management.

  • An extensive array of in-service training for enhancing the clinical abilities of caregiving staff, plus sustaining their morale and spirit.
